1. Introduction

Lumi ("the App") is developed and operated by Wandering Architect ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data is collected, how it is used, and your rights.

2. Data We Collect

2.1 Data You Provide

All data you create in the app — tasks, projects, chat messages, reminders, and settings — is stored locally on your device and optionally synced via Apple iCloud to your other devices signed into the same Apple ID. We do not have servers that store this data, and we do not have access to it.

2.2 AI Chat Data

When you use the AI chat feature, your messages are sent to a third-party AI API (currently DeepSeek, via a proxy server at 43.165.126.123) to generate responses. This data is transmitted for processing and is not stored by us. Please refer to DeepSeek's Privacy Policy for how they handle your data during inference.

2.3 iCloud Sync

If you enable iCloud Sync, your task and project data is stored in your personal iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit service. This data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy and is only accessible by devices signed into your Apple ID.

2.4 Subscription Data

Subscription purchases and entitlements are handled entirely by Apple's StoreKit framework. We do not collect, process, or store your payment information. All payment processing is managed by Apple. See Apple's Privacy Policy for details.

2.5 Diagnostic Data

The app includes an optional diagnostics feature that logs directive execution results locally on your device. This data never leaves your device unless you choose to share it.

3. How We Use Your Data

• Task & Project Management: Data you create is stored locally to provide the core functionality of the app.
• AI Chat: Chat messages are transmitted to the AI API solely to generate responses. They are not stored on our servers.
• iCloud Sync: Data is synced across your devices using your personal iCloud account.
• Token Tracking: AI token usage is tracked locally to manage trial and subscription quotas.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties. The only external data transmissions are:

• Chat messages to the AI API (DeepSeek via proxy) — for generating AI responses
• iCloud data sync — via Apple CloudKit, if you enable the feature
• Subscription verification — via Apple StoreKit, handled entirely by Apple

5. Data Security

Your data resides on your device and (optionally) in your personal iCloud account. We do not operate our own servers that store user data. We recommend keeping your device and Apple ID secure with strong passwords and two-factor authentication.

6. Your Rights

Since all your data is stored locally on your device and in your personal iCloud account, you have full control. You can:

• View all data within the app at any time
• Delete individual items or clear all data from the app
• Disable iCloud Sync in Settings to keep all data local-only
• Uninstall the app to remove all local data
• Request a full data export by contacting us

7. Children's Privacy

Lumi is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page, and the "Last updated" date will be revised. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
