Privacy Policy

The short version: Lumi has no servers, no account, and no analytics. Everything you put into Lumi stays on your device. We cannot see your data because it never reaches us.

1. Who We Are

Lumi ("the App") is developed and operated by Wandering Architect ("we," "our," or "us"). This policy explains what leaves your device, what doesn't, and what you can control.

2. The Short Answer

• No account. There is nothing to sign up for and no user identifier.
• No analytics or tracking. The App contains no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, and no crash-reporting service.
• No network calls. The App contains no networking code. It cannot transmit your data anywhere, because it has no way to.
• No data sale or sharing. We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information with anyone.
• No in-app purchases or subscriptions. Lumi has nothing to buy.

3. Data Stored on Your Device

Everything you create in the App is written to local storage on your device. This includes:

• Tasks, projects, notes, and their completion state
• Dates, deadlines, reminders, and recurrence rules
• Your conversation with Lumi, including anything you type into it
• Preferences and settings, including whether you enabled iCloud sync

This data stays on your device. We have no access to it, cannot view it, and cannot recover it for you.

4. iCloud Sync (Optional)

If you turn on iCloud sync in Settings, your tasks, projects, and conversation history are stored in your own personal iCloud account using Apple's iCloud Key-Value Store, which keeps your devices in step.

• Your data goes to Apple, not to us. We cannot read it.
• Only devices signed into your Apple ID receive it.
• You can turn sync off at any time in Settings. Turning it off does not delete what is already synced, but nothing further is sent.
• This feature is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

The App only asks iOS for access when you enable this yourself. It does not request an Apple Account sign-in merely by being opened.

5. Notifications

Reminders you set are scheduled as local notifications on your device. Notification text is generated on your device and is never transmitted anywhere.

6. The App Widget

The home screen widget reads from a shared container on your device to display your tasks. It does not access the network and does not transmit anything.

7. Optional Local Metrics

Lumi keeps a small set of counters on your device (for example, how often you undo an action) so you can see in Settings how the App is actually behaving for you. These counters:

• Are computed entirely on your device
• Are never transmitted to us or anyone else
• Can be exported by you as a JSON file, which only happens when you tap export and choose where to put it

They exist to be read by you. There is no upload, no dashboard, and no collection.

8. Data We Collect

None. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or receive any personal information from the App. We do not receive your tasks, your conversations, your device identifier, your IP address, or your usage data.

This is consistent with the App's App Store privacy label, which declares no data collected and no data used to track you.

9. Third-Party Services

The App does not integrate any third-party service. Specifically, it contains:

• No third-party AI or model API. Lumi's language understanding runs entirely on your device, and it does not send what you type anywhere.
• No advertising or analytics SDK.
• No social login, and no third-party account system.

If a future version adds any of these, this policy will be updated before or at the time of release, and the App's App Store privacy label will be changed to match.

10. Data Security

Because your data is stored locally, its security is the security of your device and your Apple Account. We recommend a strong passcode and two-factor authentication.

11. Your Control and Your Rights

You are in full control of your data. You can:

• View and edit everything inside the App at any time
• Delete any item, including sending it to the App's own Trash, where it can be permanently removed
• Erase all data by deleting the App from your device
• Turn off iCloud sync in Settings at any time

If you have a question about your data that the App's own controls don't answer, contact us and we will respond to the best of our ability.

12. Children's Privacy

Lumi is not directed at children under 13. Because we collect no data from anyone, we collect none from children.

13. Changes to This Policy

If we change this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above and post the revised version on this page. Material changes will also be described in the App's release notes.
